Hi friends! I have had so many questions on the products I’m about to share with you recently. I use these all of the time anyway, but with the state of our living right now (aka being quarantined), I know several of you are looking to do a lot of your self care at home. I am positive these products will help you get through this season so you can still feel taken care of without having to leave you home.
One of my top requests over the last few days has been what self tanner I use. I actually have 2 that I use on a regular basis. If I had to choose, I would choose the Norvell Self Tanning Mousse. When applied with this washable applicator blending mitt, I always get the perfect streak free tan! I can put this on at night and wake up with the perfect natural looking deep tan in the morning. It does get on my sheets, but it washes out just fine.
My second favorite is the St Tropez Express Self Tan. What is neat about this self tanner is you can apply it after your shower and leave it on for 1, 2 or 3 hours (depending on how dark you want to go) and then rinse it off. It deepens over time. I typically like to do this on a Saturday morning when I don’t have anything to do for a few hours or even a Saturday night about 3 hours before I plan to go to sleep.
Honestly, this has been a top request for a couple of weeks. I was recently thinking about getting lash extensions. After doing research, I decided I did not want to spend the time and money on something that could potentially ruin my own lashes. When I discovered DIY lash extensions by Lashify, I was so excited! I’ve been wearing them for over 2 weeks now and love them. I would highly recommend purchasing the control kit because it comes with everything you need. You can save $20 by using my link. Here are some things you may want to know.
– You can wear them for up to 7 days, but can take them off everyday if you like.
– You can reuse them. Just be sure to clean them between uses with 91% alcohol.
– They are very lightweight and easy to maintain.
– There’s a facebook group that is filled with tons of good info!
I’ve been doing my own nails for over 2 years now and love it! I have saved so much time and money. Not to mention how convenient it is. I have a step by step tutorial saved in my Instagram highlights called Nails at Home if you want to see me doing them in person.
Cut, file and buff nails. Don’t skip this step. Especially the buffing.
Use a lint free nail wipe with rubbing alcohol to start with a clean nail slate.
Add Bond-aid to help with the longevity of polish wear.
This LED UV nail lamp has worked great for me! It has 3 settings on it, but all I ever use is the 30 second.
Apply base gel coat. Let curate in nail lamp for 30 seconds.
Apply gel color. Let curate in nail lamp for 30 seconds
Apply second coat of gel color. Let curate in nail lamp for 30 seconds.
Apply top gel coat. Let curate in nail lamp for 30 seconds.
That’s it! I linked the no wipe top coat so if you get something different, remember to do final wipe with alcohol.
This is my go-to root concealer in between salon visits. I get my roots done every 8 weeks and need this after only 4 weeks. Tons of gray. This works perfectly until I get my hair done again. I love that it saves me money!
Living Proof Dry Shampoo is definitely a must for me. I only wash my hair once or twice a week, so this is a total life saver. I mean who doesn’t want to worry about having greasy hair from not washing? Ha!
Let's be real... life can be complicated. How about we do it together and have fun along the way as we find the happy in our every day?!
Thank you. Iβm going to be broke after but I want to try everything. ????????????
Haha, it does save you money over time at least! π
