Let’s be honest, we all itch for change every now and then! Decorating your home for the seasons is a fun way to spruce up your space without breaking the bank. When you incorporate the season into your decor, you are able to give your home a new look at least 4 times a year.
Spring is my favorite season of the year. It represents new life, color and vitality. The sun begins to shine a little brighter, the vibrant colors seem to sing for joy a little louder, and the freshness of the air causes life to feel much lighter. If you are anything like me, you love to be outside in the beauty of nature. The sound of birds chirping, the wonder of flowers blooming and the echoes of children playing give a heightened sense of inspiration to all who take the moment to enjoy such incredible glory. Anytime I can bring the beauty of nature into my home, its a win. Spring is the perfect season for this.
In my last article, I wrote about neutral decor helping to make small spaces appear larger. A neutral base also makes it easy to add a pop of color without making major changes. Pink seems to be the color of the year; I have added it to my decor to bring in color for the season.
