Last Summer I was craving major change in our home. I found myself slowly transitioning from the farmhouse style. I’ve never had one specific style in mind when decorating. Honestly, I just do what I like. I did go a bit more boho, while keeping some farmhouse touches. I think it all started when I painted my kitchen door pink! It was the perfect color that I carried downstairs as well.
After refreshing the door and painting the windows black in our kitchen, I wanted to add some stately open shelves. I had been admiring the work of Shelfology for a while when I came across these Aksel Stunning Stains Nutmeg rough shelf system, www.shelfology.com. The beauty and quality of these shelves really caught my attention. I love how you can customize them to fit your needs. I went with 12in deep and 2in thick shelves that were 48in long. I really wanted that wall of my kitchen to be a statement, and these shelves totally did the trick!
I love these Aksel Stunning Stains Nutmeg rough shelf system, by Shelfology so much that I am going to get some for the fixer upper we are currently remodeling!
